S2BAS – (S)pace (S)ervice (B)enefits in (A)viation (S)ystems is a TechnoSky initiative in the frame of ESA ARTES20 program with the main NAIS support and the involvement of IDS, CIRA, Telespazio, e-Geos and others as partners.
S2BAS has the purpose to develop and demonstrate benefits of an integrated system, based on the use of several satellite services (GNSS, EO, SatCom), mainly targeted to small airports, for the provision of Navigation and Flight Information Services to general aviation pilots in the approach and landing phases of flight
On 14 and 15 July 2014, NAIS will be present at ESA exhibition stand and with Technosky will show the S2BAS project results including the developed end-user device.
