NAIS is sponsor of the 5° EARSel (European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories) Workshop on Remote Sensing for Cultural Heritage: “Advances in Remote Sensing for Cultural Heritage: from Site Detection, to Documentation and Risk Monitoring” that will be held at ESA – ESRIN Frascati (Italy) on the 12 – 13 November 2015.
The workshop is organised by ESA, EARSEL and CNR-IMAA under the patronage of ASI.
In this event NAIS will present the paper “VIDEOR: Cultural Heritage risk assessment and monitoring on the Web” that illustrates the VIDEOR project and some results of the preliminary analysis performed in the buffer zone of Villa Adriana to identify changes due to anthropic activities (urbanization, agricultural, industries). Villa Adriana is located at Tivoli, near Rome, and is inscribed in the UNESCO list since 1999. The property, commissioned by Adriano emperor, has an extension of 80 ha and a buffer zone of 500 ha.
VIDEOR is a project performed by NAIS in collaboration with ISCR (Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro) and SUPERELECTRIC.
